There are a handful of great wedding photographers in NY region that I really like and will be thrilled to work with, Leo Timoshuk from Syracuse is one of them. Before first meeting him in Mystic Seminar 2014, I came across his name a couple of times unexpectedly, even from the young beautiful Russian girl who purchased my Canon 5D Mark II. Among wedding photographers, I am more opt to be a shy person externally, while Leo is definitely an icebreaker. After a few words on a seminar with each other, Leo invited me to jump onto his boat immediately when he was looking for a 2nd shooter in this capital region for a coming wedding. I was nervous for helping cover the groom's preparation part alone at a distant location as the clients had the preconception of Leo's ethereal beauty style, which is a bit different from what I used to do. But Kate and Scott were such a wonderful and friendly couple that soon made me relieve and feel freely to guide them and keep shooting. They got married at Saratoga National Golf Club, where Leo and I walked around and even borrowed two golf carts with the couple to explore some fantastic photographic locations inside the venue. I can't tell what a great time to work along with Leo in that day, not only did we have so much fun during the whole session, but also I grasped a bunch of ideas, tips and techniques here and there.
I'm so grateful that Leo allowed me to release a few of my favorite frames that I took in Kate and Scott's wedding, and I will truly miss and look forward to any future opportunities of working with him.
