Though I live in China for over 20 years, I never got a chance travelling to the capital - Beijing. And last June, the opportunity finally came. I spent 4 days walking around some of the most well-known landmarks there. The Temple of Heaven is my 1st stop and needless to say, it's stunning and breathtaking, and the whole temple structure was built upon those most precious wood layering each other without a single nail. This is a place where ancient emperor made a prayer to the god from the heaven, which made this sacred place full of history and mystery. At the end of the day, I also visited the famous Beihai Park located in the center of Beijing city and had a wonderful view of the prestigious The White Pagoda.
