2012 Buddhist Assembly In Mahayana Temple, Leeds NY

A brand new year has come. As one of the branches of buddhist organizations in the northeast of New York, Mahayana temple held a big Buddhist Assembly today to worship the buddha of medicine. As a long-time buddha believer, I really enjoyed the reading of sacred sutras coming from the buddhist monks, which is more like a pure anthem than a serious life lesson. Just as Jay Maisel ever noted, whenever I go, I carry my camera with me. And here are some of the random shots I took from today’s assembly, my 2nd visit to this sacred and peaceful place ~~~~

B.T.W., I really loved the vegetarian food there, the best I’ve ever tasted after coming to the U.S. I will definitely miss that since now on … ^-^

March 16, 2012 - 3:13 am Albert Ortega - I would like to say that love your temple form the pictures that I saw in your site. I was wondering what Mahayana school does the temple teach from like Chan, Tien Tai or Pure Land?
