Since I began to pursue my own spiritual journey of photography, which was continuously inspired by my belief of beauty and innocence as well as the buddha within my mind, I shot quite a lot for my friends and my clients. I almost forgot the emotion and feeling when I wanted to shoot something I really like. Although I have been in the U.S. for four and a half years, I didn't get in touch with much American culture, especially art entertainments like broadway musicals. Last night I was just lucky to be accepted to shoot a rehearsal musical named "The Pirates of Penzance" held at Cohoes Music Hall with other local photographers. Not only did I get some nice shots to my taste, but also made some new friends in photography. Out of my surprise, I got over 1,000 shots for almost 32GB graphic data (previously I only shot so many for wedding jobs), and then I selected one quarter of them to do the quick post-processing. Here I got 90 pictures to share with you for this unforgettable night.
These are the first half of the shots taken before the musical intermission. Enjoy ~~~
These photos are amazing!!! Just got back from NY and saw the show twice – my daughter is Mabel, the female lead, and of course I thought it was a wonderful production! Whatever you’re doing, keep it up because you do beautiful work! Thanks so much for sharing your pics!!
