Light, colors, gestures, emotions and moments, all of these are the elements I keep seeking. Like Cliff said, the camera is simply a device that let the light in, it's the way you see the world creates the moments of art. I don't know why I love to shoot event, but i do know I love delivering the moments, especially the best moment coming right between moments. Nowadays wherever I go, I always carry a camera with me, no matter it's Canon 5D Mark II or Nikon D3s or simply just an iPhone. Without it, I felt my life empty. Taking a look at what you are looking at, that's how I keep looking and thinking.
For those who wonder what gears I use this time, it's simply my trusted Nikon D3s coupled with an extremely cheap Nikkor 70-300 f/4-5.6G (yes, no VR) made in China. I shot with Manual mode in constant ISO = 6400 in order to keep my shutter speed at least above 1/160s. The results were quite promising, not much noise could be noticed visually.
Below are some of my selected frames from this event tonight, enjoy ~~~
