Last weekend, I held my 2nd workshop "The Art of Exposure" at Elks Lodge thanks to the help of a kind student member. The name of this workshop was actually based on the name of 2nd chapter of my coming photography ebook " Flowing Light, Fleeting Shadow - The Revolutionary Path of Modern DSLR Photography" released in China soon. I was thrilled to throw this workshop to my students, who might never thought that using a single window light could be so powerful to create such strong images. And each of them couldn't get enough out of it. For me, it was such an exciting experience as my favorite model - Alysha Lee was back in this workshop session. After last shoot with her in Washington Park, I've changed my style a lot, yet I still can't get a single frame with other models that can match the ones I created with her previously. This time, again, Alysha proved her magic in front of all of us. As you can see below, just simple light, simple composition and simple exposure, no complex trick, only natural light and natural mood, that's exactly what I'm looking for - simplicity is the art of beauty!
