During the past two months, I have been traveling in north and southeast part of China. Since I came to the United States, it has been a while for me to go back to China visiting my family and some of new and old friends. Kun and Wenhuai know me from the internet through my popular Chinese photography e-books and have been following my works for years since then. Last year they even kindly invited me to shoot their wedding in their hometown in Inner Mongolia. Unfortunately their wedding day didn't work with my schedule so it has been a great pity for both of us. Before my departure from the U.S., Wenhuai contacted me again and saw if I could travel up to the north and meet them in the capital of China. He planned to hire me doing a portrait session for his wife Kun as a post-wedding gift. I couldn't turn off their kind invitation once again and told them I would be more than happy to capture something special for his lovely wife. After a few simple communications, I jumped onto the train towards Beijing without any hesitation and meet them in the famous Summer Palace, which was the imperial garden for Empress Dowager Cixi. Later I asked Wenhuai to join his wife and captured a couple of frames for them being together, which also became some of my favorites in this session. I wish they would enjoy these images as much as I do and cherished these beautiful moments for their lifetime.
