When snow begins to fall, Christmas is coming. This year, again, Horizon invited every international students in this community to their biggest Christmas dinner party. As a local church group and organization, Horizon was established to make friends with the international people and let them hear the voice of god through various kinds of entertainment activities or seminars. I've been to their activities and programs for a couple of times that i can't remember in the past 4.5 years, so I am a truly old friend of them. But I was still a stranger among the people seated there, not only were my friends no longer there, but also the staff in the Horizon have kept changing all the time. Keep attending such similar events after so many years might make lots of people feel boring, which prevents them from coming back again to join the new people there. In my case, I went there not because I was hungry and needed some free food, but for my last opportunity to be there to review the warm feeling gradually fainting in my memory. I am not a Christian, and might never be in this life, but I really appreciate the kindness and patience that given to us, and no matter we believe Jesus or not, we all got the most precious stuff in the world - hopes and loves ~~~
