As a buddha believer, I made a short visit to the largest buddha temple -- Mahayana Temple in Leeds, NY this Saturday afternoon. The weather is pretty nice and even sunny, and we met a very nice female staff there who kindly led us around as well as invited us to enjoy the delicious vegetarian food in the temple. After coming to the U.S.A., it has been a really long time for me to get some traditional vegetarian food, which made me miss Hangzhou and West Lake a lot. I still remember the days when I walked one hour and a half to the top of the mountain in Hangzhou to listen to the buddha sutras and taste the most delicious vegetables cooked by the monks. Visiting such place in the U.S. gives me a feeling of coming home, I mean, the spiritual one. I wish I could go there again later in the eve of Chinese new year ~~~
