Kikyou is back to my Lion Heart Project and we went to the famous Emma Willard school, a private independent girl school located in Troy, NY. The whole school is beautiful and quiet, covered by intense historical sense and artistic atmosphere. We chose to be there on Sunday as it is not allowed to be photographed by any reasons on weekdays, and fortunately we got a sunny day, so the autumn colors then were really superb in the following pictures. When darkness fell, we moved on to visit another big university located in Albany, SUNY Albany. We shot a few frames at the library as both Kikyou and I thought it might be a place interesting for the portraiture work, and it turned out to be so. Kikyou is my top 1 portrait model for various kinds of style shootings as only she could handle these poses and emotions, which greatly helped me to practice and capture the pre-visualized scenes in my head.
