This week I drove to Macungie, PA to vist my senior sister apprentice, her husband as well as her lovely 10-month-old son. I didn't get a chance to take some shots for them as both of them are quite busy with their work, and as their place is quite close to Philadelphia, I can't miss the chance to have a visit there. I think I've always had a big headache of driving in big cities like New York City and Philadelphia. People are really impatient if you struggle with your car on the street. The traffic there is really bad, and as I stumbled with my GPS to find the right place, I've been shouted with myriads of dirty words tens of times in a single hour. I really can't understand, nobody can react as fast as a citizen there to know the right turn immediately by following the GPS. Everyone was speeding up; for a highway with speed limit 55, the average speed on the left lane there was 85! I can't believe that. Maybe that is the life in Philadelphia, the life in U.S. big cities. I will never want to live like this, and maybe a small peaceful town would be better for my rest of life. At least there aren't as many people as in Philadelphia that want to kill you just because you slow down the car.
Since I didn't get many shots and update my blog after my Ph.D. graduation, so finally I have something to make the updates. Here are a couple of random shots made at the famous Independence Hall, National Constitution Center and University of Pennsylvania, one of the Ivy League Universities in the U.S. I hope you will like them ~~~
