Ever since Dan introduced me to the Poestenkill Falls near the campus of RPI, I've been there a couple of times in the past year. I took this place as kind of sacred ground for me, simply because that's the place when I began to take photography seriously, and that's the place Dan and I first met and shot together, learning how to find beauty and human nature through the viewfinder, and that's the place where my dream of texture, dimension and mood unveiled. I felt a little melancholy there, as I was planning to leave this place pretty soon and my journey might end right at the starting point. A dream was somewhat like a circle for me, no matter how far you have been away in your mind, you were still there and would always be there. And when the dream evaporated and you woke up, the pain for the lost would be touched.

I took a walk to the falls again this evening. It was so quiet and peaceful there, making me fall into a meditation for a long time. And when the sunset came into the valley, I knew it was the time to capture the last beams of golden light, bathed in the running water. And here are the moments that I saw in my dream, enjoy ~~~
